VISA APPLYING
PROCESS

Step 1
You or your authorised representative can submit your visa application in person at the Australian Visa Application Centre (AVAC) in Bangkok.

To avoid delays when lodging your visa application you should include the following:
Completed visa application form
Photograph
1 photograph for temporary visa , 2 photographs for permanent visa
Photograph facility is available at Australian Visa Application Centre at a nominal additional charge
Passport
Photocopy of all stamped pages
2 Photocopies of the data page of passport (passport page with photo)
Visa Application Charge (VAC) see: www.immi.gov.au
Supporting documents for your application as advised by the Australian Embassy Bangkok.
VFS Service charge of 600 THB for all visa types and THB 535 (including VAT) for Re-Evidencing Visa per passport is applicable. Additional charges apply for courier services. Payment through credit cards is not accepted by the Australian Visa Application Centre

Step 2
Before applying, please ensure you are very clear on your ‘purpose of visit’ – do remember we are here to assist and help you through the entire visa application process but are not permitted to advise or guide you on choosing a visa category. Since our work is primarily administrative in nature, we have no say on whether you will be granted a visa and how much time it will take to process, as this is entirely the prerogative of the Embassy of Australia to decide on

Step 3
Please go to the link “All about visas” to understand details of all the visa categories

Step 4
Please ensure you read the security regulation notices before you visit the visa application centre / Embassy

Step 5
Your passport may be collected from the Australian Visa Application Centre or you may also choose to pay additional charges to have your passport returned to you by courier.
