If
you are unable to attend in person at the Australian Visa Application Centre in
Bangkok, VFS has made special arrangements with GDA Couriers to accept visa
applications and return your passport by courier. These centres are located in
Chiangmai, Samutsakorn, Chonburi, Phuket and Suratthani.
Applications submitted by courier from these centres will reach the Australian
Visa Application Centre in Bangkok the next working day and will immediately be
forwarded to the Australian Embassy Bangkok.
To avoid delays you should include the following in your visa application
package:
Completed visa application form
Passport
Photocopy of the data page of passport (passport page with photo)
VFS service + courier charges - by Bank
Draft payable to “VFS (Thailand) Ltd”.
These documents should be provided to the GDA centre in an open envelope. A GDA
staff will check the application package and countersigned a receipt checklist
once completed by you.The package will then be sealed in your presence and an
Airway Bill receipt will be issued.Please retain this receipt to collect your
passport later from the same GDA centre.
Return of
Passports
You may choose to have your passport returned to you by courier. Additional
charges will apply.Passports will be returned to the same GDA courier centre
and you must present the Airway Bill Receipt to collect your passport.

These charges
include the 535 Baht of VFS service charge + courier charge which varies
according to the location.
Bangkok
715 Baht for accepting applications only
895 Baht for accepting applications and return of passports & other
documents
Payment must be by Bank Draft in favour of "VFS (Thailand) Ltd"
Other up country
locations (Chiangmai, Samutsakorn, Chonburi,Phuket and Suratthani)
845 Baht for accepting applications only
1,155 Baht for accepting applications and return of passports & other
